Classes and Info

The Sandra Powell School of Dancing provides high quality Cecchetti Classical Ballet classes for children from 18 months up to teenagers of 18 years. We hold our classes at St Leonard’s Church Hall, Cambridge Road, Horsham, RH13 5ED.

Ballet Class Timetable

Tuesdays

3:40 – 4:10pm   Primary   Children aged 3 and 4 years

4:10 – 4:40pm   Standard 1   Children aged 5 to 7 years

4:40 – 5:10pm   Standard 5 Ballet

Fridays

4:00 – 4:45pm  Standard 5 Ballet

4:45 – 5:30pm  Grade 3 Ballet

5:30 – 6:30pm Intermediate Ballet / Contemporary

Parents are only permitted to watch the final class of each term.

Please arrive promptly ready to dance at your start time.

Fees

You will be given an invoice for the fees of the upcoming term at the end of each term. You can pay by bank transfer or cheque. Please ensure fees are paid by the first class of each term.

One term’s notice is required on leaving.

Uniform

Girls wear a navy blue leotard with skin-toned ballet socks and ballet shoes with elastics. Pupils in the Pre-Primary and Primary classes should also wear a navy blue circular skirt. Pupils may wear skin-toned ballet tights from Grade 4. Hair must always be tied back neatly in a bun.

Boys wear a short sleeved white leotard, navy blue shorts or tights and white ballet socks, with white ballet shoes.

All uniform, including shoes, can be ordered through the ballet school – a form is available to complete for this.
