The Southern Area Award is an opportunity for pupils of the school to participate in a local competition. The Awards are held in Shoreham every March.
The Southern Area Awards consist of four sections;
Junior – to compete you must be aged 7, but under 9 years
Lower Middle – you must be aged 9, but under 11 years (no Grade 4 or higher applicants)
Upper Middle – you must be aged 11, but under 14 years (no Grade 6 or higher)
Senior – you must be aged 14, but under 17 years (no Intermediate Foundation or higher)
Conditions – all Scholars, Cecchetti and Royal Ballet Associates and those taking part in the Cecchetti Children’s and Mable Ryan Awards are not eligible to enter this competition.
